To resume suspended updates, follow these steps:
- Choose the Start menu.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Update & Security.
- Click on Windows Update.
- Choose either Suspend updates for 7 days or Advanced options.
- Find the dropdown menu under the Suspend updates section.
- Select a date to resume the updates.
To resolve a pending Windows Update installation, follow these steps:
- Restart the system.
- Delete and redownload the update.
- Enable automatic installation.
- Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
- Finally, restore Windows Update.
If the Ctrl + Alt + Del combination does not work, try these solutions:
- Perform a startup repair.
- Disable Fastboot.
- Restore the graphics drivers before restarting the system.
