How to Use Snapchat
To change the language on Snapchat, follow these steps:
- Scroll down on the support screen until you reach the Language section.
- Tap on the current language.
- On the next screen, choose the language you want to use on Snapchat from the supported languages.
To use Snapchat Chat, follow these steps:
- Locate the contact you want to chat with by tapping on the speech bubble icon at the bottom and tapping on their name.
- This will bring up the chat screen, where you can send a message using the text field at the bottom.
Snapchat is primarily known for creating multimedia "snaps." These snaps can include photos or short videos that users can edit using filters, drawings, and special effects. In December 2012, the option to send both photos and videos was added.
To take a snap, follow these steps:
- Open Snapchat on your smartphone.
- Tap on the chat icon at the bottom left to send a snap.
