If the editing toolbar is not visible, click on the "Show Editing Toolbar" button in the Preview application on your Mac. To highlight the PDF, use the tools in the toolbar or the Touch Bar. Select the text you want to copy or delete.
Using Acrobat DC
- Open a file in Acrobat DC.
- Click on the "Edit PDF" tool in the right panel.
- Add new text, modify existing text, or update fonts by selecting them from the Format list with the editing tools of Acrobat.

Modifying a PDF using Word on Mac
- Open Adobe Acrobat.
- Go to Tools and select Export PDF.
- Choose the file to export.
- Select "Convert to" from the "Microsoft Word Document" menu, and you can also choose the language of the document.
- Finally, to save the modified file, click on "Export to Word".
